transplants are topical around here more than ever theze daze....... so I thought I'd share that today is the 14th anniversary of my first organ transplant surgery........it was a doosey! kidney/pancreas cadaver surgery @ UCSF in San Francisco.......it was a 14 hour event(that's long folks) with 7 transfusions to keep it lively......and yes the cadaver was a woman > makes me complex? so live each day with passion and kindness > but y'all know that. I think we're headin back to the Beacon in March is my gut. as far as Jefferson and Adams > well it is a deep topic........I went to U.Va. so I favor "TJ" he built it called it "the academic village". .....but Adams was probably a much more honorable man, Jefferson lived with a ton of hypocrisy and died in deep deep debt. but Mr. Jefferson would have loved the ABB........Adams > not likely. 😎 .........and yes don't sweat the small stuff
