EC's influence and creativity in my ears stretches way outside the lines. EC can play many styles and has influenced many.
When it comes to being on stage Dickey is magical, explosive and offers the audience a roller coaster experience.
EC is more straight forward and has his boundries, Dickey will go way outside the lines and even surprise those on stage with him.
This is a good discussion. We all hear music differently, what is great to me may be ugly to someone else.
