Strasburg looked great..thanks to the direct tv baseball package, i got to watch the game..
I remember 2 other pitchers that looked great...they both had stuff equal to Strasburg and were going to propel the Cubs to world domination...
Mark Prior and Kerry Wood....
I think Prior is out of baseball and Wood has been on the DL around 12 times in 10 years
Pitchers tend to get injured a lot..I hope this youngster has a great career...but it can change in a moment.
The Cubs took Prior with the second pick, behind some catcher..
That catcher was Joe Mauer
