Behind every post there is a heart. With feelings and love. Or sometimes lack of. Fame is an ugly animal sometimes. People lose track of reality quite frequently. It's also hard to maintain I am sure when you are under a microscope. Or everyone kisses your but no matter what you do. Being in a band is like being married to 5 or 6 people at once I would think. The world is darkness and light. The friendships that are created here make peoples lives happier. The music makes their hearts more joyful. They have been around for many years and have worked hard. As my friend "the 5th Allman Brother" once said this was clearly Duane's band. He was the band leader. All members contributed. Look at Gregg. He was gorgeous. He should have been a huge international star. The band really had it all. Looks, talent and original music. Red Dog worked his but off no doubt. Bands are like families in that there are a lot of dynamics going on. Roughspots and free sailing. There are so many things going on in the world right now. Too much too quick. Enjoy this wonderful music and the friendships it brings while you can. Put on your sailing shoes.
