I've been a fan since 1970. Late 70's to '89 were mostly listening. Then one summer day I hear the ABB will be at the Spectrum. Pull into the first place for tix. Something happened from that first note of DWYNM.
Anyway, after just hoping for a show or two I got 7 years of Dickey, Warren, and Woody (my favorite except orig), the DB, Jack Pearson, Oteil era. the DB, Derek, Oteil era, the Derek, Jimmy H., Oteil era and now going on 10 years of the current Warren, Derek, Oteil era.
I went through the real tough Dickey times. It was not pretty and I said some bad things myself.
Anyway, in hindsight I don't have anything to compain about with maybe 75 shows since 1989. The road does go on forever.
