doggie I said that because 97-99 after warren and woody left things got kind of stale again same setlists night after night. With the current band they are interjecting new material, they have re-written the old material and they are adding covers many of those old songs that Duane used to do session work on etc. In a few week period these days they can cover over 100 songs. The last few years before the change the setlists were stagnant. They are still selling out playing major sheds have moogis and instant live revenue streams and a great fan base its still all good and better than it has been in Decades. Have you heard Egypt, Ofreo?? Have you heard the newly worked Black Hearted Woman or No One To Run With. Hopefully the road continues on full speed ahead there is no live group like them. Look at the talent Warren, Derek, Gregg and the best percussion unit on the planent. I would probably take 96 by a nose also that year was fantasic vibrant high energy the last one for me until Warren's return in 01.
