Great, humbling weekend in Macon...Was in awe of the Big House. What an amazing accomplishment by Kirk West and everyone else involved in making that place so special and for putting their blood sweat and tears into making it happen. Greg Potter, sure hope you're able to take a breath now! The music this weekend was second to none. The show Friday was very emotional for me. Lefty and the boys (and girl!) were off the charts at Grants Lounge at the aftershow Friday night!! The jam on the third floor at the Big House on Saturday was very special. Jack, the two young boys Dusty and Reese, our peeps from right here, wow! The icing on the cake came Saturday night when Jack brought the house down at the Cox Caiptol Thetre...the man is just beyond talented... Thrilled to have gone to Rose Hill, so very beautiful and serene. Saw Berry from a distance at his father's grave so sad and beautiful at the same time... The H was off the charts and Mama was just a doll, not to mention the food..wow! Thank you to all of my friends, old and new for making this such a special, healing weekend. I love you all.
