That is not good news about Jim. I hate to hear that. I did get to see him at the big House deal. We talked a little. A lot was going on, I really did not get to spend much time with him, or a lot of other people. Glad we did rap.
When taking the pictures for the greatest live album ever recorded. The band was sitting up against the wall. Jim was in the back of the truck. He's trying to take some pictures from there. ( the picture on the
front and back were taken from that position). The roadies were in the back of the truck behind Jim. Having trouble, getting the attention of the band. Jim had this big Buck Knife and held it up to the band. Duane never blinked. He just said I would not do that. Red Dog is sitting behind you. Everybody had a good laugh. Right after that, Duane saw the man come around the corner and jumped up. Ran to where the man was and copped enough for all. Came back, sit down, stuff is Duane hands, check them out next time, clasped together. Everybody was happy, with big laugh, Jim took the picture. The only picture with the band laughing or smiling. All others looked like the roadies did on the back. Now the reason for joy was because Mr. and Mrs. Jones were knocking on the door. The mood was not good. It did change.
