I took a taxi from 20 East 76th Street (Surrey Hotel) to the United Palace to see the ABB Fri nite, tell the taxi to take West Side Highway (Express) and it will take you 15 mins - $18.00 + tip...don't let the taxi take you up Broadway with the lights, it will take too long and too much $$... The concert hall is double the size (VIP row, then AA-OO, then A-Z downstairs) of The Beacon so there are alot of people packed in the hallways heading to the bar (wine and beer only)and bathrooms. Bathrooms are only upstairs, up the grand staircase on 2nd floor, sure miss The Beacon... I am going to see the ABB show tonite, sitting in Row AA, Seat 18, this time I will be in front of Warren...yehaa! Kimberly
