Terrific show in Tampa (Ybor - pronounced "E-bore") last night from DTB. Col Bruce opened & Derek's younger brother did a great job on drums. Susan T. came out and did her usual job of making everything better. Col Bruce said "And now to bring some beauty to the stage, welcome Susan T."
DTB were very loose. Great "Key To The Highway," "Feel So Bad" with Col & Susan, wonderful "KaMaLay" (Yonrico on fire) and a way out there "Afro Blue." Todd was magnificent on bass last night. Always is.
I know the band is on hiatus after this year, but from the way the bandmembers were talking after the show it sounds to me like they are breaking up. So if you want to see them GO NOW!
