For me, and I've seen 'em many times and every year since 1994, it was a pleasure Saturday night seeing Gregg on stage with his baseball hat on backwards playing a Stratocaster for nearly the entire show. That was a first for me.
And like has been said here earlier, anytime they open with Mountain Jam, it's a good show. Liz Reed at end, coupled with opening Mtn. Jam gave us about an hour and 15 min. of instrumental bliss in a two-hour set.
Jimmy H. is the hoss for absolutely killin' it at the last minute with the ABB, before having to come out with Widespread and shred again. This guy is first class, from ARU, to the Dead, to Phil and Friends, to ABB, to his solo stuff. So sweet!
All the ABB carried the load superbly, and although we hated Warren wasn't there, it was a memorable show.
It was one of a kind to one who has seen 'em many times, and loves Warren, even though he wasn't there.
Happy trails!
