Wishing Krishna a very happy birthday!!! I think that any Allmans run is better than no Allmans run. Seeing them in a lot of venues through the years, the Beacon has magic. Some might argue its New York but I have never had the Beacon feeling at say Jones Beach. The Nature Conservancy concert with Paul Simon towards Montauk was special but not the same. Plus the extended family festivities packed into one area cannot be beat. Where else can you walk a few mile radius and bump into so many people you know or so many people on the same vibe? Yah the bear bar is gone but the magic of seeing Del and Heidi or Tyler and his excitement, the Bomberry Clan, or the hospitality sweeties letting their hair down, Johnny, Jeanie, WoodyCA, Sheep and Denise, the Archer crew, Sang, Wharfy, Crocky, Gail.... even smiling Jack sometimes… this list could be endless... I guess what I am trying to say is that I agree with Big Dave and Terri B... a Beacon in May with enough notice might work. Peace love and more beautiful music---Scotty
