...Remain alert.. WOW!! is a good place to start in describing Dickey & Great Southern Monday night at Slims. They were locked in! Frankie & James were the power in the back, Pedro & Mike building the foundation, Andy & Duane both ably supporting & pushing the Cat in the hat himself, who was on top of his game!! Setlist: 8:17 High Falls Statesboro Blues Nothing You Can Do Paradise- Duane, vocal Blue Sky Hoochie Coochie Man-Pedro, vocal You Don't Love Me Jessica 9:26 break 9:55 Back Where It All Begins Southbound-w/ Frank Hannon (Tesla)-guitar One Way Out In Memory Of Elizabeth Reed>drums>IMOER No One To Run With-Dickey on a white Fender 11:07 encore 11:08 Ramblin' Man 11:16 Frank Hannon played a nice solo during Southbound. Duane told me during the break that Paradise was a song he had recently written. Andy had several great leads throughout the night, played a very nice slide on a few tunes. I haven't seen Dickey in 4 years, so I was more than ready to see my favorite living guitarist & he did not disappoint! Brilliant, outstanding, masterful, just begin to describe my feelings about Monday nights show!!! I hope I don't have to wait another 4 years to see him! :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: THANK YOU LANA!!! :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: THANK YOU ROWLAND!!! :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: ..the world needs more lerts 😎 ...
