Happy B-day to Mitch!!! love the road stories... I never keep track of how many shows in a year but I do keep track of a year with no shows at all. I don't think I have great Scott beat for 11. Also I think Tyler tied this year and someone at the Beacon might have a full run. I have seen some off or unusual shows (ie. Montauk with Paul Simon, Woodstock, Jazz Fest). I have learned that I generally prefer a brothers show with no opener or at least a FULL brothers show rather then something shortened for the opener. I've ralphed at shows and the most memorable was at teh Beacon when I went out to the rail and Big Rich had someone snap a shot of me with him towering over me and laughing.... Anyway, lots of great memories.... lots of great people.... B2P dancin' with bluefox.... JFC's original fishcamp.... travling to woodstock II with no tent and being adopted by a family.... Allman's on the ray ban stage... having a deep conversation with Woody on the streets of New Orleans... catching Greg play piano in a hotel lobby... vermont gynasium show... san diego convention center show where the floor just bounced the entire time as we danced.... mimosas and leon russell prior to hitting a show... pre-parties... meeting randoms in texas... catchnig a show in florida...etc.... Peace love and beautiful music--scotty
