Debbie, I've got you beat...11 shows in 2001. An all-time record for me! Kind of makes it that much harder that I'm only seeing one this year. As Dr. Smith (of "Lost In Space" fame) used to say, "Oh, the pain of it all!" '01 was great, but honestly, I think '02 was my most memorable year with the new lineup. The extravaganza at Deer Creek where Warren played with three bands, July 4th in Nashville...and then three glorious nights in a row in September...Atlanta, Birmingham and Memphis. The Atlanta show, especially tailgating and rockin' it on the lawn with Ryan and Michael Williams, was probably the highlight of the whole tour for me. Although...Oak Mountain the next night was a trememdous show, and the pre-show get together was one for the ages. But there again, Mud Island the next night with my ol' buddy Joe Roy was a heck of a good time... Who am I kidding? 2002 rocked for me. Six shows, all grand slams. Definitely my favorite year with the current lineup. :beer:
