Man, what a day.... Birthday greetings to AtlBarb. Barb is one of those folks that it feels good inside whenever you see her smiling face. It means something fun is about. Have a great one kid! Anniversary greetings to Lana and Rowland. The list of people who have had a greater impact on my life would be very short. Hope you make it to B'ham! Speaking of which, after much consternation re passwords and registering, a phone call got me 2 for each night. Looks like everybody is in 23L and 24L, me too. But downhill from there. Got a msg. while I'm on the phone with them to call the ER. They had Mom, via lifeline. Went up Sun. as usual, all was fine. She went out to her mailbox yesterday, normal. Couldn't get out of bed this morning, fell. ER gave her a clean bill of health, I took her home. She couldn't walk. Almost fell twice trying to get from the car to the house, I had to let her down, get a better grip. Couldn't get to the bathroom, had to carry, I think I pulled something trying to keep her upright. Lost her vision. In 3 days time. Got home health care out there now, 24-7...taking her to the DR. tomorrow, going to try to get her back in the hospital till I can get her in a nursing home. She's got about $40K, gotta' try to sell her house and car. No support network at all. Man, it's always something. From sitting on top of the world after getting the tickets, to the bottom falling out. That's why you gotta' be happy every chance you get. Walk away from the BS. I'm at the point of life (61) as are many of you, where these deals are to be expected. It's always something, and I'll deal with it. Always nice to have the ol' GB to check out.
