oy..Must have an  watching over us.., leastways, Kevin and I had a wonderful week... got a happy, sappy post so be forewarned..and worse, not a damned thing about music, let alone the Allmans.. might tickle a few of our Marines though.. Season is here :alienglow: even if we did hit a low of 26 degrees this fine morning :alienglow: Yankees are out there walking down the State Road 776 (now offically declared a great states of America "Scenic Highway" )..yehaw! and the sign says 37 days till spring training..Kevin says they forgot a turn or 2... here we are shaking like leaves, wild winter blues.. God love these beautiful people..walking down the road in short shorts, milky white legs pumping, even folks of colour look pale when they arrive here..Welcome to FLA! just before closing, shivering as the temps took a dive, this handsome older gentleman pulls onto the lot..fit as a young athlete, intelligent eyes, graying hair despite his youthful step....I swear I could fall in love everyday... He only had eyes for my American muscle...a tough little '90 5-O we parked out on the point.. One of the great thrills of this job is when Jr says, "Mama, want to take a test drive?" This ole stallion of a car tore up the test drive strip and was begging for more..a one owner who apparently spent more time washing and waxing then on the road...a no-brainer..auction over...Sr wrote the check. The sweet Daddy kept his cool, but his sparkling eyes gave him away...He was in his glory! LOVE motorheads.. He started explaining how this particular ride has always been his good son's dream car..He couldnt believe his eyes..In the middle of no-where overhead=give awy deals...Perfect! Scribbled paperwork, threw on a dealer plate, and off we went... following Dad home, ,as he instructed, his auto garage door opening, as good as any opening-nite curtain Ive ever seen... pulled on in..let the ponies roar... The young Marine , home (at last!) fresh from Iraq, opened the inside door..Silver-$ eyes damned near popped out of his head! If I live to be a million..I will never forget the love this Father and Son shared with eachother, and the McFamily last night....God bless American Muscle....Ca
