LOL, LMAO, ROTFLMAO, and a few giggles and grins to boot.
My, oh my. Our GB livingroom is one funny place of late. Who needs daytime TV soaps? We've got all that beat by a mile here in the ABB GB. Like the sands of time, THESE are the days of our lives. LOL.
There are days when all the negativity frustrates me and really is quite trying, and then there are days, like recently where everything assumes a humorous tone. A little good natured ribbing is good fun as long as it doesn't progress to mean spirited belligerance.
For the record, I've never lived south of Buffalo NY, (much to my chagrin). :cold: So I guess I'm technically a damn yank, but I believe to my soul, I'm southern at heart. Good peeps down here. I'm presently spending a two + week respite from Lake Effect Snow down in Charlotte, NC, staying with a good friend. The weather hasn't been ideal, but sunny blue sky days in the 50's and no snow in January..........Priceless!
I think I need to follow Lefty's lead, and make that southern migration. 44 years at the eastern edge of lake Erie, smack in the middle of the snow belt is about enough. I must be crazy to have stayed so long. Both parents are gone now, and at the moment I'm out of work, so this may be a good year to load up the uhaul and head south more permanently.
Yankee by birth, Southern in wannabe spirit, ABB fan by the grace of God.
Speaking of girl drummers.....
How 'bout that Sheila E. (scovedo). Saw her at a small club in Buffalo once. That woman knows how to handle a set of sticks! Ba-dum-bum. :boomerang:
