hotlantatim-- Gosh, it can be a kaleidoscope on here, can't it? :yep: The parallel I was considering has to do with the post-hey-day era, the era when some band members have cleaned up and others haven't, etc., not with the beginning trial by fire period that bands went through. So I wasn't so focused on that early period when, earlier today, I (hurriedly) tried to clarify, in response to your response. Kaleidoscope! :yep: As soon as I walked away from the computer, I remembered I had left out Mick Taylor, though, since he quit--didn't get fired--he's not relevant to the point I was making. I also remembered that Brian had gotten excluded before he died...however, it wouldn't have seemed that members like Charlie or Bill influenced that decision...which is one of the points I was making, so he was beside the point too. (Also, the sometimes outnumbering of the original members by other musicians on stage that you also mentioned in reply, although interesting, doesn't really have anything to do with the different dynamics between band members in different bands.) Kaleidoscope of communication! :yep: Anyway, are you the Tim that rides a motorcycle, whom I see at concerts in VA sometimes? Cheers, Janet
