Happy New Year to the ABB Family. I don't come around here much anymore. I am so glad to see Brother Red Dog posting here. The memory of that March night and morning at the Filmore in 1971 is a powerful one. I happened to be one of the lucky ones who saw that late show at the Filmore. I remember standing in line outside the place and hoping to get in. I think someone announced from the stage that Johnny W had to go on before the Brothers cause he had a plane to catch. I am so glad the Brothers went on later. Duane and the Boys showed us all that they were among the exceptionally few with strong magic in their music. I think that was the only Filmore show I went to where I was greeted with bright daylight at the end of the show. That was a night to remember. I hope Brother Dickey plays with the Band again. I also hope he knows how much love the fans still have for him. The Brothers music has been a very powerful force in my life. Gave me a lot of joy for many years and once even gave me a reason to hang on when it didn't look like there was any. Peace to you all.
