My stepson Brian, and his Sarah, took the old man to Syracuse tonight to get my butt kicked by the Mule. It was a successful mission. Thanks for the guitar lesson, Warren. I heard lots of favorites, plus new songs from Deep End 2. George Porter, Jr., and Danny Louis played the first set, and Danny and a second bassist I didn't know(last name was Alexander, I think) played the second set. It was a good mix of fans, young and not so young, and all having a real good time. And I finally got to hear the When Doves Cry>Beautifully Broken I've been reading about here. Even though I had seen Warren 3 times this year with the ABB, I hadn't seen the Mule since before we lost Woody. Thanks for keeping it going strong, guys. You made this ol' fella's night something to remember.
