Red Dog, I just want to tell you how much I enjoy reading your posts. Stories from the early days are true treasures. You were there from the get go. A lot of the early timers are gone now. These stories need to be preserved for posterity. I remember telling Callahan, at WaneeFest one year, "Man, you were one of the folks who built the temple." Meaning that he was there from the onset, like you, and Kim and Joe Dan, along with the original six band members. He appreciated the remark. It really is the stuff dreams are made of. It was a once in a life time shot. To have been there and experienced it, to have been a part of it ... I can only imagine. I was just too young to know about it then. I know about it now, and realize how significant of a contribution it was to modern music. To hear you reminisce about Duane, Berry, Twiggs and all the others makes my heart soar. Thanks, man, from the bottom of my heart. MERRY CHRISTMAS!
