Well Reddog, I like to see the orginal four play together again, but I think for it to happen that Dickey is going to have to understand that he'll be a guest of the current band, and not an active member. In the last decade, Warren and Derek have done quite a bit in re-vitalizing the Allman Brothers Band. Indeed the chemistry between those two (and with the rest of the band) is the main reason why the band is as damn good as it is. And truth is, I can't see the current Allman Brothers Band "messing up" what they got going now, by trying to intergrate Dickey back into the band. As a "guest" Dickey could probably come out and play a few songs with the band in much the same manner that Chuck Leavell or Jack Pearson do when they sit-in with the band, but beyond that I don't see Dickey as evey returning as an active member of the band. That's pretty much the way it is. Can't go back to yesterday.
