Red Dog, a death of a family member can make you famous, depending on how the person died. Most of the time, its the 15 minute thing if you know what I mean. I personally hate it when the talking heads shove a camera in front of some poor fool to get a 30 second soundbite about the tragic death of their family member. Then there are times when the plubicity does a greater good. Examples include Natalee Holloway exposing corruption and human trafficking, or the lack of sex preditor laws in the little girl case in Florida, yada. I have mixed feelings on the whole profit from death thang. Theresa Earnhardt and Pricilla Presley each made fortunes profiting from death of spouses, so it happens. If the Goldmans have a story to tell and people are willing to lay down their money to buy it, I say thats America. They were thrust into that position from an unfortunate situation.
