Debbie,
There is one who I miss and mourn so much more than the President who died the very same day as Kennedy. That would be the great Irish author and Oxford and Cambridge don C.S. Lewis, author of the Chronicles of Narnia, Mere Christianity and many other works. Another great British author died on that day, Aldous Huxley. There is a fascinating book, Between Heaven and Hell by Peter Kreeft, that gives a fictitious narrative between the three in a nether region (between heaven and hell) and debating the three major world-views each represents (Huxley-materialistic atheism, Kennedy-liberal religion, and Lewis-Judaeo Christian Orthodoxy). I highly recommend it.
One final note on chords. All my previous pontification assumes a standard guitar tuning of E A D G B E low to high. We know that Duane used at least two non-standard tunings, and not surprisingly there are many different non-standard tunings. While this doesn't change the types and variations of chords, it certainly changes the fingerings with each new tuning. Oy veh! I think I'll have some aspirin now!
