First, I would like to say to Phillybob, I gave you a shot and you showed you can take it, as well as you can give it out. I respect that. Class of a gentleman. Second, Rick that is really a hard thing to define. I understand you trying to figure it out. I will give it a shot, which is my opinion Mc. came out and said we were doing fine. The economy was strong. Three hours later the bottom fell out. This caused a lot of people to think the man was not being honest with the true. Hiding things form the people is not going to be perceived as a positive thing. Now he might have not know, which would put him out of touch with the people. All Mc. did was attack, not enough time telling the people what he was really going to do. The Maverick thing was way off from his record. A few things he did go against his party, but by his own words, he said he supported the things Bush and Co. did 90% of the time. That hurt him real bad. Add Sarah P. to the ticket was a killer. The republican base did not need to energized. He needed to reach outside the base. He failed to do this. She proved that she did not have a clue. I am trying to figure out how she got to be a Governor. The only thing I could come up with is. She is a good looking lady and some rich people in Alaska though they could move her along. That is cool in a state. But step on the national scene and things get real tough. The perception of a man running around be hide a woman, like being her yes dude, did not go over to good with the men that think they still have their manhood going in their brain. She did not come across as being intelligent. More of an air head. Sat. night tore her up, because that was the way she came across. Mc. POW time is something most of us cannot conceive, but did not help him. Party and campaign played it all wrong. Tried to play on the sympathy of the people. Then changed his tactics when that was not working. Which is the main point? He changed his tactics to much and it showed he did not have a grip on the situation. He was giving the rich a break, or at least the people saw it that way and not taking care of the people. Now this is where Obama made great advances. He talked to the middle class. He kept his tactics steady and on course. He talked about change. He had a better vision for the country. Like myself, he sees the war in Iraq as a war we should not have got started. Afghan, he says, is were the action is. That is where we should be kicking some a$$. Mc was a rich kid, and Obama was from the streets. Obama they said did not have the experience to be President. Well, he beat the most powerful Dems. Then did the same to the Repubs. Some where the man got experience. The man can give a speech. He shows he has intelligence and class. He knows how to speak to the people. This is his main thing. He can run a rap. He stayed calm during the whole process. Mc. seemed to get mad at times. I guess the bottom line would really be the economy. Obama was steady, the Mc, seemed to be a little shaky. Now that is more of the same stuff you more than likely have been hearing, and maybe do not see things like I do. But I gave it a shot. Today seems to be a day we can talk about politics. Today. After today back to normal. It is a great day for our country. We have come full circle. An American of African decent is President. The world will look at this country different, hopefully like they used to. With respect instead of fear. This is a great country. I love her. I get to run my mouth, with in reason. I am proud to have fought for her. Right or wrong. I can stand tall, that I answered the call. Now we all have to answer the call. We are in for some hard times. The road is not going to be good to us. In time she will smooth out. Be strong and stand tall. There is an old saying. If it ant broke, leave it alone. well folks she is broke and needs to be repaired. Just maybe this will put of back on the right track. Power to the people, by the people, for the people.
