Just to update people, this actually took place in March of this year (the "last Friday" thing is way out of date). The stoning is to occur no later than January of '04.
This punishment was set and carried out under Sharia (a particularly harsh brand of Islamic fundamentalist) law...Just Say No to Fanaticism.
