Just sitting here in Denver having coffee with Cowboy Neil talking about last night. Great time at SmilingJack's and Phyllis's house. About 60 people attended. Neil and I were saying how rare it is to have that many people on the same page. After seeing some good old friends and having a great night about half the party headed over to Dulcinea's. Lefty Colling opened the show with and excellent set. Always a pleasure. Tommy Gallagher and his incredible friends played a really excellent set. These guys can play. Would have liked to have hung around to see Lefty play with them but it was getting late. It was a pleasant surpise to see Lana and Rowland show up. It's a beautiful day in Denver with the Allman Brothers Band at Red Rocks. Personally, I'm thankful for every second that I hear the Brothers play. Heading to the Marriott West before the show for a gathering to remember Bobo and Bill Ector. And just how big is Cowboy Neil's head? The smart money is on north of 8 liters...
