You are correct in the ex Marine statement, there are only Marines and former Marines!!! Your post has inspired me to post something here I posted on Dickeys' site yesterday conerning my own situation. I have received so much support from the Family here in the past. "Unfortuntately Pam & I won't be able to go to the Peachcity gigs it appears. The biopsy came back positive for squamous carcinoma cancer and I need to deal with it soon. This is separate from the earlier carcinoid cancer so I will be fighting this demon on 2 fronts. The plan is to begin radiation and chemo in about 2 or 3 weeks. I do have many test coming up during the next week or 2. I also hope to work from home again as that will help keep me occupied. Thanks to all of you for the ongoing support. It has really meant quite a lot. I'm a pretty tough old dude and I can beat this thing!!! I'll be alright in the long run, I've made it this far"!!! I go to the James Cancer Hospital at Ohio State University tomorrow for follow-up testing on the carcinoid cancer concerning my liver. This was already planned prior to the lastest news. They will now be looking for the carcinoma cancer also during the testing. I am so fortunate to have Pam & the Children giving me support. Thanks for listening folks and for all the support. Peach.
