Interesting stuff today. If I may... 1. Our play is the band's work. I assume that like any venture, they like what they do most of the time and make business decisions within that dynamic. 2. Most of us loved Dickey for a long time. Some don't of course but whatever. He wrote epic tunes and has that great tone of his. 3. Few of us ever had to work with him. Every work environment has challenging characters and this one is probably no different. 4. Some of those people have 9 lives, but few have eternal life within the business or circle of friends. 5. The ABB made a choice. But if they felt their back was up against the wall, maybe someone put them there. Maybe that person is responsible for his current circumstances. 5. Love them together or love them apart. This is their journey and our recreation. If you like them now, enjoy. If you want to see Dickey, do so. 6. Celebrate the day and look back on the past with fondness. There are surely some great memories. But the current band is smokin' hot! Through it all, they remain my favorite band of all time. I have met some of my favorite people because of them. We are passionate about our fun. But let's remember that it's our recreation and their lives. Thanks to all members of the Allman Brothers band, past and present. Gary
