It seems that the "brotherhood" that RedDog speaks of is personal to him, his fellow crew members and the band as it existed at that time. It's obvious that he has suffered some disappointments and changes over the years. For that, he gets my understanding and sympathy. As fans, we have developed our own sense of family - all in the spirit and celebration of Duane and the music of the Allman Brother's Band - from the originals to the current line-up. I've seen pictures of Red Dog at Wanee, so I know that he has experienced this. Whether or not he feels it the way that we do, I can't say. Red Dog, I hope to meet you some day. I've certainly enjoyed reading your "tails". I know you could fill us all in on historic details. It'd be terrific if you could join your old brother Kim and come to the next Jam For Duane. If you do, you'll get to meet some of the new "brotherhood".
