I believe that with age and a tough world, in a survival response, as one gets older, you become concerned with defending your patch of ground from the onslought of life. Idealism of youth and worrying about your brothers survival become smaller priorities. Add in big money, hired guns whose job is to caretake the money earning machine, and it is inevitable brotherhood suffers. Just about every large band has lost it's brotherhood. Amazingly, the Rolling Stones are the biggest exception. One point the Dog brings up is the disappearing JJ............... never thought about it, but I always wished he was not hidden and it does seem odd..... he wasn't hidden early on..... always figured it was his choice.... Marc on his palacial percussion throne, Butch spread out all over the right, and where's Waldo 🙂
