Different strokes for different folks: I'll actually go to a show I wouldn't otherwise, simply because it is at Chastain. I catch a few shows at Chastain every year and have for most of the last 22 years. Great place, great sound (sometimes not loud enough in the rear). Yeah, some crowds get chatty, but if you sit in the front 1/3 of the ampitheatre, that is solved. I'm actually disapointed there are no carry-ins. They used to have some no-table shows that allowed coolers to be brought in. Saw Lenny Kravitz/Blind Mellon in 1993 there that way. That would be the way to do this one, but oh well. I may look into a mini-series of tix since the series looks pretty good. Lyle Lovett's Large Band never disappoints, so I'd be at two right away. Count me in for both ABB nights in Oct!
