Allmans are everywhere
10/17/2002 Courier-News
Allman Brothers fans must be in their glory because there's so much to love these days with the band's various projects.
Gregg Allman & Friends will perform Wednesday at The State Theatre, 15 Livingston Ave., New Brunswick; Tuesday and Wednesday at B.B. King's Blues Club on 42nd Street at Times Square in New York and Nov. 3 for a show that will kick of the Camden Concert Series at Scottish Rite Auditorium, Collingswood.
Gov't Mule, led by the Allman Brothers guitarist Warren Haynes, will perform Nov. 8 at The State Theatre, while The Derek Trucks Band, led by the Allmans' other guitarist, will perform Nov. 14 at B.B. King's.
Former Allman Brothers guitarist-vocalist Dickey Betts and his band, Great Southern, also will be in the area on Nov. 9 at Baker Ballroom, 41 W. Blackwell St., and Nov. 15 and 16 at B.B. King's, a room that just can't seem to get enough of the Allman Brothers Band.
