Evening all. RIP Mr. Jennings - I'm sorry I never heard you live as Carol always mentioned what a treat you were. Heaven has a h*e*l*l of band up there. Anyway, I too find all of the guestbooks overwhelming (especially as I have a focusing problem) which is why I seldom post anymore. There is just too much to read (keep up with) here now - I have no internet access at my job where I already spend eight hours with my eyes glued to a computer. Its gotten (great grammar) so bad that I cannot remember the last time I read a book. So Happy Belated Birthdays to those of you who were celebrating. Jody - good luck with your new home - may it keep you warm and safe. Tom S. - I liked your posts about the older/younger generations and whoever (sorry I forgot) posted about Duane and Dickey both being number one (no number two) was also right on. Been listening to Dickey's August 2001 show at Kelly's Pub (freight train during Liz Reed), and while Dickey's voice was pretty much shot, Kris on Liz Reed on the sax really stole the spotlight. Looking forward to my first show of the year - Govt Mule at the Vanderbilt in Plainview, Long Island ion March 1st (anyone else going) - having severe live show withdrawals. Happy Valentine's Day - may your heart be touched with joy!
