I posted too soon! It seems like we had a tornado pass overhead late this afternoon. It didn't touch down in our neighborhood but you could hear the ROAR of that freight train! During the roar it started hailing and I have never seen so much hail coming down in my life - about 1.5 inches in diameter. It was pouring white ice and coming down so hard that you could not see the house across the street. Before the hail started it was 70 degrees outside but dropped dramatically once the storm started. Within 10 minutes of the tornado passing the sky cleared up and it was beautiful. All of the ice reflected the sun and everyone came out of their houses to see the white landscape and to check for damages. So far, so good... JNB
