Linnie...because you are family OK the credit report thing is very good. As Linnie said, if thisis your first time to actually look at your credit report be aware and forewarned there may be some crap there. In cases like Verizon...ior any "utility", cable, telephone, power company, yada...here is one thing that gets ACTION. If your State has a public service commission, like Alabama, you simply call the utility with the nature of the problem and if you dont get satisfaction, simply state you will be contacting your public service commission to file a complaint against them....they DONT like hearing from the government and I have found this works. One time I filed a complaint and I mean within minutes the utility contacted me and fixed the problem. You can also "dispute" errors on your credit report. This has limited success but may be an option to try. So, before you even go there re credit reports, take a chill pill and be ready to spend some quality time reviewing the information carefully.
