Since Hophead gave such a good review of the Macon fest, I will just comment on the GB element that was there. Cee Cee brightens up any concert with her presence and was great to hang out with her in High Falls and meet her friend Shannon. Thanks for stopping by y'all. "High" Falls it was....:D Spent some time with Judi Petty in the grandstands, always a pleasure to be around her. Hophead was a large presence, haha, and glad he will have the show for us to re-live and enjoy. Thanks Ron! Great to see you having a good time. Patty G showed up and did a little dancin' with us in front of the stage. Always wonderful to see you, Patty. HTN's Christine K and Pete were there, as was a large GABBA representation, including Nancy SS, Kyler M., Penny and her hubby, and more that I am forgetting, sorry. Anyway, by the time Derek came on, it was a small gathering of GB, GABBA, and Derek list family, and we were having us a private party with Derek. Cee Cee had her elbows on the stage, Miss Elf and I were behind her, surrounded by friends, in Macon, and we were blown away by Derek and his incredible band. Count M'Butu and Luis Carrera sat in on percussion, Mama H and Mrs Hudson were sittin on the stage, Col Bruce joined the fun for Yield Not, and when it was all over, we were all filled with joy. A wonderful night of music and friends and dancing and smiles. EAPFP
