Anyone have a setlist for this show? Had tickets for da ‘Burgh and tonight’s Philly show, but I couldn’t make either one. Can anyone help a brother out?
To the folks above. ABB doesn’t allow Flac/Mp3 downloads, so they won’t be on archive.org nor bt.etree.org
Some of y’all are way too bitchy lately. That was a great show.
I saw both shows also, and i have to agree, I was impressed with Derek, and Warren, and the band was very tight, but almost over-rehearsed. Dickey, on the other hand, i’m pretty sure missed 2 notes in 2.5 hrs, but the rest was all raw pure energy, he was hot, and feeling the crowd, and i loved every second of it, his son played with him also, dad should be proud, the kid jams. I saw the Allman Bros Sat at burgettstown, and Dickey, and great southern at the pittsburgh blues fest sunday at hartwood acres. i will have to say that i’ll see both bands again though!!
Randy,
I agree, it wasn’t the best show that I have seen from them. The entire show seemed to be very scripted and staged, like rolling out an old concert film- not much more.
Gregg needs to step back and look at his own performances over the past several years. His criticisms of Dickey were unfounded, and he started to show either his age or dis-interest in live show performances. He showed a lack of energy, thank goodness Warren was there to save him, again.
Derek sounded great. But, it is one thing to imitate, another to improvise (Dickey).
Got to see Dickey again on Saturday night and he blew the brothers away! His energy far surpassed everyone except Warren and Marc! I am glad that Dickey is still doing awesome, again!
Does anyone have a tape or BT of this show?
From where I sat (Section 3 row H ) I thought the sound mix was lacking BIG TIME. Muddled bass, vocals not that clear. The drum solos on Black Hearted Woman–TOO LONG ! Just another ABB concert that didn’t meet expectations. And of course the vocal mistakes by Gregg.
OUTSTANDING SHOW….
