I was thinking the exact thing concerning an official release. This show caught my eye like none other on the Beacon run and seems almost like a celebration of the band and all they have done. I support any movement to get this 3/21 show released via internet or some other media. I’m sure everyone would be happy to pay for it. Good luck.
i was at the show as well, it was amaaaazzing…we ahve got to get this show
Was at the show Monday night…would love to get a copy of the show!
Guy’s,
I just started a topic for/in Bert Holman about releasing the 3/21 show. Without a doubt the greatest ABB show I ever saw. Would’nt be cool for the band to release the show, via the Internet, to the fans, it is the 21st century. I would definitely pay to download this show or buy it packaged. The Mule was able to put their Beacon shows on Muletracks, so that hurdel was crossed. Let Bert know you want the show. Let’s see if they, the greatest band ever, can get this show to us, the fans. We should not have to beg for this piece of Allman Brothers history. Go to my topic and post your need as a Allman Brothers Band fan for this show (those of you who where there know what I mean)
Would love a copy of this 3/21/05 show – saw 3/12/05, 3/18/05 and 3/19/05, but missed this one. Best setlist I have ever seen. Have several live show recordings to trade. mmmirving@aol.com.
This show was one of the best, a really great conclusion of the 2005 beacon shows. the version of jessica w/ chuck was fantstic, as well as closing with a second encore of Layla. really a great show. Oh did anyone see Bill Walton in the lobby during the intermission (you couldn’t miss him)
i was there as well and it was a jaw dropper. i though it was great seeing greg up there totally enjoying it as well. you could see the smile on his face from time to time. we know how greg like the horn section when he records as greg and friends. been to alot of there shows and i also have to say it was the best of them all. it would be great to see chuck on the next cd. if anyone has a recording of the show i would like to know how to go about getting one. email at hurley719@aol.com
awesome stuff
