This was my first show ever seeing The Allman Brothers Band, I’m glad i picked this one to go to, it rocked out. I’m only 16 but I saw some magic up on stage when gregg was singin blue sky, it blew my mind how awesome it sounded

Just a correction, everyone has posted that the closer of the 2nd set was the bottom of a “Les Brers” sandwich, FYI.

Well, what can i say. The show was smoking from the get go. The set list was much more up tempo and didn’t favor neither Derek, nor Warren. Marc sat out a number of songs. The first set was blistering with Instrumental Illness closing. That was only the beginning. The set lists tell the songs, so i won’t go through all of that, but Susan obviously was great and Vaylor Trucks was awesome on One Way Out. Gregg sang the heck out of Blue Sky. It was weird hearing him sing it but it was good none the less. I hope they keep playing it. The balcony was great too. I was in the orchestra friday, but liked the balcony better. peace. Off to Charlotte.
