Comments from the original ABB site
Dickey Betts gave a very uninspired performance at this show and one person observed that he appeared uninterested, like someone who was staring at the clock, waiting to get it over with. Probably a sign that his days with the Allmans were numbered.
I’ve always wondered if Gregg Allman ever comes in here on his PC and reads the fan reviews.
Read Nick’s comments about Dickey…his words are very prophetic and may have contributed to Dickey’s hasty departure before the summer ’00 tour.
