Twice I had a ticket to see a solo member of the ABB, only to have the show turn out to be a reunion. The second time was June 28 (I think) 1989 at Avery Fisher Hall, when a GA&F gig turned into a full on ABB show, one of the very first of the era that began in ’89 and still runs.
This was the first. Great beautiful evening in the summer in NYC. Wish I could remember more of it. The setlist for the ABB looks almost complete, they did not play that long together, but I am almost certain that they also played Melissa.
