I was at the ABB show in KC in 1976. A very disappointing show, indeed!
Dicky was so drunk he had to sit on a stool for most of the show. Gregg was also on another planet through some chemical or liquid means.
At one point one of them said it was either Dicky’s birthday, or close to it and that would play “Blue Sky” in commenmoration of the event. This was my favorite ABB tune at the time , and unfortunately they butchered it.
This was clearly a “going throught motions” show before the ‘end of the line’ for the Mark II version. Before this show I was in awe of them, afterward, I became far more realistic about their history and behavior and of my expectations.
By the way, they also did Jessica and Wasted Words.
