* Show times are best guesses, especially for older shows
My first ABB concert. I remember that they opened with a song from Brothers and Sisters, then Done Somebody Wrong, then Statesboro Blues. Definitely played One Way Out also. I found an old article that says that
they played everything from Brothers and Sisters.Coleman Colesium was packed. Chuck was very popular around Tuscaloosa, and put on a great performance for the crowd. Wet Willie tore it up as the opener.
Blinder of a show. Chuck had recently joined the band and he really shined. Opened I think with Wasted Words. Wet Willie played better that night than I had ever heard them. I’d kill if this was was to turn up in someone’s archive somewhere
The venue was Coleman Coliseum. I was there. Wet Willie opened for The Brothers. I met and shook hands with Bear Bryant that day. Imagine a young hippie kid shaking hands with The Bear.
