The person above is right. This concert was at the New Haven Coliseum. It was my very first ABB concert. Our high school, Trinity Pawling, had a raffle (50 tickets) , I was number 13, to go. It was great!!! They
played an early version of Jessica that night. Dickey called it “Jesse’s Tune”. My second concert was 7/21/73 at MSG, NYC, one week before Watkins Glen.
Slipperyos is right. It was my first ABB concert and it was at the New Haven Coliseum, not the New Haven Arena.
I SEE AN ERROR IN YOUR POSTING FOR CONCERTS IN NEW HAVEN, CT.
4/21/72 – NEW HAVEN ARENA-CORRECT – I WAS THERE
3/1/73 – NEW HAVEN COLISEUM NOT ARENA – I WAS THERE ALSO.
9/15/75 AND 12/12/80 – NEW HAVEN COLISEUM NOT ARENA.
THEY KNOCKED DOWN THE ARENA SHORTLY AFTER BUILDING THE COLISEUM.
THE ONLY TIME THE ABB WERE AT THE NH ARENA WAS 4/21/72. AS YOU ALL RECALL DUANE HAD DIED THE PRIOR FALL 1971 AND BERRY WAS STILL WITH US.
THANKS
