I was at this show too. I was 11 yrs old. It was my first ever concert my now deceased oldest brother took me to.

Second to last show, thanks for the tunes Howard Duane Allman!

I was at this show too. Was just looking today to see if it was in fact Duanes last.
I remember going to this with my buddies from NY who attended Marietta. First time I saw the Allman Bros, was fantastic. Although being 18 or 19 years old at the time, we had been partying pretty good up until showtime. I do remember Luther Allison kickin ass, and Duane coming out and saying that “Luther Allison is the only man who could put an extra crack in BB King’s ass”.

I was at this show! I only wish I remembered more than I do. From the balcony I recall a foot-tappin, tobacco chewin BO virtually in a groove all night long. I grew up two blocks from the venue and saw several outstanding concerts, but this one was one of the longer ones, if not the longest. Always an appreciative crowd, they played there again in 79 or 80 to close the decade.

Can someone help me remember more?!?
