Met a woman about a year ago who attended this show. She recalled gregg getting seriously shocked during this solo on IMOER but that it didn’t affect his playing at all, although it was obvious that he was in great pain. I think she said Blue Sky was played as well.
This show is actually Santa Monica Civic Auditorium, Santa Monica,Ca. Verified by ticket stub and LA Times review dated 10-09-71
Actually this show was NOT in Santa Fe New Mexico, but was at the Santa Monica Civic in Santa Monica California. I was there!
There was an article in the Rolling Stone from Nov or Dec 71 that reported on this last tour with Duane, and I’m sure that it confirms this date as Santa Monica.
