I was born in Huntington and went to school in Atlanta, so when the Brothers came to my hometown theatre me and my buds invited all our friends! I have seen the band hundreds of times and now live in Boston where they play this week 40 years later and they still rock the house! Of course I am bringing my 27 yr old son who loves them also.

This place was nutty. It was just a small movie theater on Long Island. My buddy Jeff Frankel and I lived close by and went to both shows. After the first show ended we just walked up the little stairs right there in front of our first row seats and hung out backstage. We met the band, and since Jeff and I were drummers, Jaimo invited us to the show the next night at Central Park. From then on Jaimo & Butch called us “Mutt and Jeff” and they let us in backstage for every NY/NJ show. What a kick. We were 15 & 16 yr old kids hanging out with our favorite band.
Years later, I met Kirk West in SF at the Fillmore West and gave him my poster from this show for his museum at the old ABB house in Macon.
