Bruce Springsteen’s band Steel Mill had already broken up a few months earlier. His band for this show was called Dr. Zoom and The Sonic Boom.

Bruce Springsteen was in the band Steel Mill when they opened up for the Allmans. Steel Mill broke up soon after. This was before he had a recording contract with Columbia Records and success in his own right.
